Our Kerrie died on the 29th september 2001 aged 20, three days before her 21st birthday. She was
killed in a knife attack. This devestated our whole family, we will never get over losing her. she
is very much missed by all her family and friends. She has 2 children, Bridey-Rose and
Heaven-Leigh, parents Denise and Richard, Sister Eloise , brothers Stuart and Chris...she has two
nieces Jodie and Brooke, and four nephews, Matthew, Thomas,Rocco and Joseph. who she sadly never got
to see, although they know all about her...She was a wonderful mam to her girls, a loving daughter
and sister. always smiling and a great sense of humour... Kerrie is sadly missed by her aunties,
uncles and cousins. She was a great character and had many friends. She will always be the Queen of
our hearts and not a day goes by that she isnt thought about. we love and miss her so much
Unfortunately the people who took kerrie's life did not see her through the same eyes as her family
and true friends. On the day Kerrie was murdered she was taken to a house by her so called
boyfriend, where she was attacked and fatally stabbed 5 times . She was left to bleed to death in
the arms of a stranger, whilst those responsible thought only of themselves. The knife used to kill
her was wiped clean of evidence and hidden under her body, Another weapon used was taken and hidden
in a nearby allotments, Kerrie had been dead 30 minutes before an ambulance was called. one of the
people involved told the others present " say nothing about the machette and ill say she fell on it
" as the police arrived this same person announced " it was her own fault she fell on the knife" .
they never gave one thought about Kerrie dying , saving themselves was more important. however
those that were responsible may think they have walked away with this , but we rest in the
knowledge they will have no peace in this world or the next.
The inquest into Kerrie's death concluded , that she had been unlawfully killed. Murdered by
person's unknown
